Prior to retirement in 2015, Mr. Herman was employed by Health Care REIT, now known as Welltower Inc. (NYSE: WELL), from August 2000 to December 2015. He served as an Executive Vice President and President, Seniors Housing and Post-Acute, following progressive leadership roles as Chief Investment Officer and Vice President of Operations. Prior to his tenure at Health Care REIT, he worked from 1987 until July 2000 as a real estate appraiser and valuation consultant specializing in the healthcare and senior housing sectors, providing him with experience in asset valuation, underwriting, and portfolio management. Mr. Herman served on the board of directors of Invesque, Inc. (TSE: IVQ), a healthcare real estate company, from October 2017 to May 2021.
